I’ve taught art for over 20 years in a variety of settings. In my last few years of teaching I became increasingly interested in how to make things – or “re-create” them – from materials that were headed for landfills. In this blog I hope to share some of my insights, techniques, challenges and successes from making items from materials that others may have just thrown away.
